Last weekend I went to my first ever festival and it was damn hot - yeah boy!
V Festival, Hylands Park, Chelmsford was the festival of choice along with my cousin Rosie and her good friend (& my fellow Bridesmaid when Rosie got married last October) Megan. We went for the whole weekend and it was amazing, a great life experience that I will never forget and am so grateful I did.
My favourite band in the whole world, The Killers, headlined the Sunday night. I am lucky enough to have seen them a couple of times before with Tony in London but was still so excited to see them at a Festival with a HUGE crowd. We bagged a pretty good spot in front of the stage... not too close to be in the mosh pit but close enough to see Brandon Flowers in all of his glory. At one point I looked back and there were people as far as I could see, singing along, loving it. That is a sight that will be etched into my memory forever. AMAZING! Personally I was singing along to every single song, loving the set and may have gotten a little too overexcited and sprained my ankle. But hey, ho - they were so worth it!!!
